Papers of Robinson, a wealthy unmarried planter and whiskey distiller in Rockbridge County, Virginia, containing brief correspondence, receipts, agreements, orders for sales of liquor, notes of purchases at a general store, his will, an inventory of his estate sold at his "Hart's Bottom Plantation" in 1826, and accounts for the hire and sale of Negro slaves inherited from Robinson by Washington College at Lexington.
